Oskowskie Subdivision
The Oskowskie Subdivision is a small neighborhood on Theodore Court, which leaves the southwest side of Boston Road a short way southeast of Payson Road. The "Plan of Land in Billerica, Mass., belonging to Theodore and Sophie Oskowskie," surveyed by John Thomas Brown of Twombley Avenue, North Billerica, is dated November 18, 1947 and was recorded on December 16, 1947 (Plan Book 72, Plan 7). It laid out Theodore Court, 40 feet wide and about 360 feet long, named for the owner, with seven house lots of about 8,300 to 10,400 square feet beside the Oskowskies' house and barn on Boston Road. The oldest houses date from the early 1950s, and the town accepted the street in 1960. The land behind it was laid out in the 1960s as Apple Hill Estates.
