W. Emerson, westerly and southerly by Emerson and Samuel Cole to other Ranlett land, westerly to Concord River, northerly by the river to Roby, and easterly by Roby "as the fence now stands" to the road, with the right of way through Roby's land "being the same liberty that was given William Hill by the last will and testament of his father." | January 7, 1879 | Deed | John H. Osgood | David D. Ranlett, I. Alonzo Ranlett and Horace D. Ranlett | 1879: Osgood's half to Ranlett's sons | 132/97 |
For $750, Osgood sells his undivided half of the 75 acre farm "with the buildings thereon," same bounds and right of way as 1865, to the sons of his late co-owner Charles A. Ranlett (David D. of St. Albans, Vt.; I. Alonzo of Boston; Horace D. of Oakland, Calif.). Title from Book 44 Page 511. Signed Jan. 1, 1879. No sale by the Ranletts appears in the recorded indexes because the farm stayed with the trustee under Charles A. Ranlett's will and was registered in the Land Court in 1910 (Case 2792, Original Certificate 176); later transfers are on registered land certificates.
