Amos Cray House
Amos Cray was born in Gloustershire, England around 1834, and moved to Billerica with his wife Martha prior to 1860. He worked in the Wool Mills, and purchased the northeastern portion of James Whittemore's land in 1883 with a narrow right-of-way around the James Stott House to Mount Pleasant Street.
Presumably, Cray built the house right after that, and he purchased more land from Whittemore in 1892 to give him access to the newly-built Billerica Ave.
Cray died in 1897, and his estate sold the house to the Talbot Mills.
