Asa Hill House
Brick houses are rare in Billerica and this one is unique in its style.
Asa Hill may have been a brick-layer. In 1824, he bought a quarter acre from Samuel Brown, on the east side of West St and across the street from his "ancestral" homestead where his mother was still living, a widow. He is shown living there on the 1853 map, but died in Harvard, MA in 1874. After that, M. Hays owned the residence.
