Benjamin L. Judkins House

This house is variously given build dates between 1734 and 1795, and sits on the original Ralph Hill land. It was certainly in existence in 1831 to be included on Hales' Map.

Benjamin L. Judkins was born in NH in 1797 and married Elizabeth Hill of Billerica in 1827, acquiring the house at that time. The family held onto the house for well over a century before selling it to the Brainerd family in 1968.

In 2008, the lot was subdivided and mostly sold to Brightview Senior Living, with a carve-out for the house. In late 2020, that remaining lot was also sold to Brightview and the house was demolished in 2021. At the time of its demolition, it was substantially altered from how it looked in the 1800s, so it may not have been classified as a historic house.
