Also Known As Moses P. Greenwood House
Address 96 Dudley Rd
MACRIS ID BIL.185
Built 1689

John Stearns settled in Billerica in the northeast corner of the Dudley Farm around 1653. His son, Captain John Stearns, married and lived in Watertown for some time. In 1689, he brought his family back to Billerica for the birth of his sixth child. He built this house and the sawmill further down the brook. Although many generations improved the house over the years, many features remain consistent with the late 17th century origins.

The house was occupied by the Stearns family until 1850, when it was bought by Moses P. Greenwood. Moses's descendants owned and operated the farm until at least the early 1970s.
