Deacon Thomas B. Edmonds House
Deacon Thomas B. Edmonds House
This is presumably the oldest extant house on Baldwin Road. It's associated with Deacon Edmonds, who came to Billerica from Charlestown in 1840 and died here in 1876. It's thought he built the house in 1870, though it's possible James Gould, who bought the land in 1834 did so. The divided chimney is certainly younger than John Snow's ownership in the early 1800s. During the 20th century, it was used as a summer home for the Gilman family.
