Faulkner sold the land to the B&M Railroad in 1851, and there was no mention of any buildings. By 1853, there was a structure here, owned by the railroad, possibly as storage for the depot. There are two distinct structures on the property, connected by a short hallway. The western half, which appears today as more of a storage area, was shown alone on the 1875 map. The 1887 engraving shows two separate buildings, and the 1889 shows them as connected. The foundation is peculiar: the bottom is fieldstone, with granite slabs on top. It's possible this house was originally somewhere else, and brought here when the depot was rebuilt.
