Dickinson Subdivision is a small group of house lots west of Billerica Centre, between Parker Street and Whiting Street south of Richardson Street. It was laid out on the "Plan of Land in Billerica, Mass., Belonging to Edward F. Dickinson," surveyed in May 1927 by Brooks, Jordan and Graves, civil engineers, of Lowell, and recorded on May 16, 1927 (Plan Book 50, Plan 49). The plan shows Dickinson Street, 36 feet wide, running about 314 feet from Richardson Street to Holden Street, which the town had accepted for 250 feet from Whiting Street in 1926, with lots of up to 1.70 acres and larger lots running east across the railroad to the Concord River. The assessors date the houses to about 1922 through 1960; the town accepted Dickinson Street in 1954.
