The Farmer Subdivision is a small group of house lots on a short dead-end road running northeast from Boston Road a little beyond Webb Brook Road, on land of the Farmer family. Its line first appears as an unnamed 40-foot strip between two house lots on a plan of land "belonging to Mrs. Bertha Farmer et al." surveyed by E. P. Simpson on April 18, 1948 (Plan Book 73, Plan 59). A "Plan of Land in Billerica Surveyed for J. E. Farmer" by J. B. Monahan, registered land surveyor, in January 1950 (Plan Book 77, Plan 16, recorded February 9, 1950) marked it "Proposed Street" and laid out lots D to J along it, against land of Hurley and Pasho. J. Everett Farmer owned a large tract on the east side of Boston Road between the land of Hurley and Webb Brook Road. The oldest house dates from about 1946. Its street, long called Everett Road, was renamed Everett Farmer Road in 1988 and accepted as a public way in 2021.
