Fawn Brook
Fawn Brook
Fawn Brook is a small brook in North Bedford, in the part of old Billerica that became Bedford in 1729. It leaves the south side of Fawn Lake and runs southeast for about two thirds of a mile through low woods to Spring Brook. It carries the water of the old Bedford Springs, on whose grounds the lake was dug out in the 1870s for Dr. William R. Hayden's resort, and it takes its name from the lake. No record of the brook by name was found apart from present-day maps.
