The Finn Subdivision is a small neighborhood in North Billerica in the triangle between Boston Road, Chelmsford Road and Rangeway Road, formerly Fordway Road. In August 1950 E. P. Simpson, registered land surveyor, drew the "Subdivision of Thomas A. Finn Property," approved by the selectmen as the Board of Survey and recorded on November 15, 1950 (Plan Book 79, Plan 10). It laid out Maytaf Street from Boston Road toward Chelmsford Road, with a small triangular park, and 28 house lots of about 9,000 to 14,000 square feet; Finn's own house stood on the Boston Road side.
The street was built as Finnway Street, named for the owner, and its houses date from about 1950.
