Fox Hill is a neighborhood in North Billerica on the south side of Salem Road, running south along Fox Hill Road, Woodbury Road and Partridge Road, now Partridge Hill Road. It is registered land, a subdivision of part of the land shown on Land Court Plan 4957-A of 1916 and covered by Certificate of Title 782. James B. Monahan, surveyor, drew the "Subdivision Plan of Land in Billerica" on May 17, 1952. The court approved it on January 19, 1953, and it was registered at the Middlesex North Registry District on November 10, 1953 as Land Court Plan 4957-B, in two sheets (Registration Book 47, Page 149, Certificate 8873). It laid out fifty-four lots of about 10,000 square feet on Partridge Road, Blackhawk Road, Fox Hill Road, Woodbury Road and Robin Road, between land of Florence M. Moy, Morris Arakelian and James E. Burke, with Old Salem Road at its northeast corner. Monahan's second plan, dated August 22, 1953 and registered on January 24, 1955 as Land Court Plan 4957-D (Registration Book 48, Page 333), continued Fox Hill and Woodbury Roads south to a way shown as Range Way Road, with lots 57 through 88. Land Court Plans 4957-C and 4957-E (1954) redrew lots on Partridge, Blackhawk and Fox Hill Roads. Most of the houses were built between 1952 and 1955. The neighborhood also takes in the houses on Salem Road between Partridge Hill Road and Woodbury Road, and Gail Ann Drive, built off the south end of Woodbury Road from 1967.
