In 1915, Richard Faulkner retired from the Faulkner Mills and decided to give up his house in the center of town. He divided the lot into five parcels. Frederick A. Morey, who operated a store in the Talbot Masonic Lodge building, bought this parcel. At the time, it had the salvaged carriage shed and two bays from the Fletcher Hotel that burned down in 1877 across the street. Morey added a storefront side on Andover Road. He and his son-in-law, Herbert Jacobs, operated a coal and grain store. The carriage house in the back was a blacksmith shop.

Those rear bays have since been removed, leaving just the more modern storefront. Center Sports Cards and Jim's Barber Shop were long-time occupants.
