Gerrit H. Bennink House
A plain house with some nice detail. Compare window in upper story with those of the RIchardson Cottages, which may also have been built by bennink for Richardson.
The benninks gave a gateway to the Fox Hill Cemetery; a bronze plaque on the gatepost records their generosity.
bennink is supposed to have been a Dutchman. He was in Somerville at the time he purchased this lot, but he came and stayed. It does not appear the benninks had children.
