Glenmere is a small neighborhood in North Billerica on Chadwick Street, which runs northeast from Pollard Street near its junction with Boston Road. In November 1914 F. W. Huntington and Company, civil engineers, of Lowell drew "Glenmere in Billerica, Mass., belonging to E. E. Perrigo," recorded on December 29, 1914 (Plan Book 32, Plan 25). It laid out Chadwick Street, 40 feet wide, from Pollard Street, with 28 house lots of about 5,600 to 5,900 square feet on its two sides; an existing house stood on lot 3.

The plan is the origin of Chadwick Street, which the Chadwick Street article had found first in a warrant article of 1914 asking for water mains on it. A main 750 feet long was laid in 1915, and the town accepted the street in 1917 and again on February 11, 1922.
