Grandview Estates

Grandview Estates is a neighborhood in Billerica north of Wyman Road. "Grandview Estates, a Definitive Subdivision Plan of Land, Billerica, Mass.," owned by Henry E. and Violet E. Fredrickson and drawn by Walter E. Sampson & Associates, civil engineers and surveyors, of Franklin and Billerica, is dated June 28, 1968. It was approved by the Planning Board on September 24, 1968 and recorded on October 8, 1968 in two sheets (Plan Book 107, Plan 125). It laid out Violet Road, named for Violet Fredrickson, from the end of Grandview Road, Peach Avenue, now Peach Street, north from Wyman Road, and Fredrickson Road, in lots of about 30,000 square feet, on land of the Fredricksons and J. E. Farmer. The houses date from the late 1960s and early 1970s.
