Hannaford House
Hannaford House
The pair of houses (this and 32 Concord Rd) were built about 1845 across the street from the first Baptist Church, which had been moved to the location in 1844. This house is attributed to Charles Hannaford, a mason who may have built it. By 1875, he have moved to Charnstaff Lane. The house past hands several times, and after World War I, it was the home of "Bart" Robinson, long remembered as the janitor of the public high school. In 1997, the house was demolished.
