Hickory Hill
Hickory Hill is a small subdivision in North Billerica on the east side of Billerica Avenue, east of the Garden Suburb, on land between Billerica Avenue and the Mt. Pleasant Nursing Home. It was laid out on the "Definitive Plan of 'Hickory Hill,' Billerica, Mass.," owned by Content Homes Inc. and drawn in June 1968 by Emmons, Fleming and Bienvenu, Inc., engineers and surveyors, of Billerica. The Planning Board approved it on October 1, 1968, and it was recorded on October 17, 1968 (Plan Book 107, Plan 134). The plan made eleven lots of about 30,000 square feet on Hickory Lane, fifty feet wide, from Billerica Avenue, and Heather Circle branching from it to a turnaround. The assessors date the first houses on the circle to about 1970, and the town accepted both streets in March 1972. The streets are Hickory Lane and Heather Circle.
