Howe School
Howe School
A two-story late Greek Revival/Italianate style school house of brick construction, the Howe School was built in 1852 as a private academy with funds donated by Dr. Zadock Howe, a prominent citizen of Billerica. The school operated as a private academy until 1914; thereafter the building became a Billerica public school. The building has retained its architectural integrity, and is significant for its associations with the development of the town of Billerica.
