John Richardson Mills House
John Richardson Mills House
The pair of houses (this and 30 Concord Rd) were built about 1845 across the street from the first Baptist Church, which had been moved to the location in 1844. John R. Mills married in 1838, and may have built the house. By 1875, Mills was living elsewhere and the home was occupied by William B. Stearns, who married in 1858 and lived the rest of his life here. He died in 1906, and his daughter, Bessie A. Messer had already moved to Andover Rd with her husband.
