Jonathan Danforth House

Jonathan Danforth was one of the most important figures in the establishment of Billerica. He had many large land grants, but this was where his residence was. In 1675, it was counted among the garrison houses that could be used in defense of the town. Martin Lane tore down the house in 1878 to put up his own family homestead.
