Reuben Duren, famed Billerica housewright, sold this house to Jonathan Prince Pollard in 1797, upon the completion of the Fourth Meetinghouse. JP Pollard's wife died in 1820 and he subsequently left Billerica, selling the house to Capt. William Richardson. Capt. Richardson very likely razed the house and built a new one.
