Lawrence B. Gannon House
Lawrence B. Gannon was born in Kilkenney Ireland in 1828 and immigrated shortly thereafter with his parents. He married Catherine Quinlan in 1862 and they had 6 children together. Lawrence worked in the mills as a spinner and eventually an overseer. The "store" next door was the family's first home, and then this house was built some time between 1875 and 1889 in the same lot. Lawrence's daughter Hannah and Henrietta lived here up through 1950 at least.
