Lewis Johnson House
Building laps onto rear portion of lot, obtained by exchange with Bennink in 1877. There had been an older building on the front portion of the lot, as well as next door, presumably built by Johnson not long after 1877.
For many years at the beginning of the 20th century, it was occupied by Jon H. Baker, butcher and owner of the meat wagon which was a familiar landmark in Billerica streets, followed by occasional young boys and hopeful dogs as it made its rounds among Billerica house wives.
Selectman Gordon C. Brainerd occupied the house from 1946 to 1964.
