Lexington Farms is a neighborhood of the mid 1980s east of Lexington Road, near Austin Road and the Nuttings Lake streets. The "Lexington Farms" definitive subdivision plan, "prepared for Harry Allan" by Fleming, Bienvenu and Associates, Inc., engineers and surveyors, of Billerica, is dated February 21, 1984; the Planning Board approved it on April 9, 1984, and it was recorded on May 4, 1984 (Plan Book 143, Plan 59). It divided the land into thirteen house lots of about 40,000 square feet and a larger lot of 7.4 acres, with a brook and its wetlands on the north. The streets are Lexington Farms Way, running from Lexington Road, and Apple Orchard Drive, with a turnaround at each end, which is on registered land, lots 25 to 35 of Land Court Plan 3708-O, filed June 19, 1984. Nearly all of the houses were built in 1984 and 1985, and the town accepted both streets in 2018.
