Lexington Hills

Lexington Hills is a subdivision of fourteen house lots of about an acre on the north side of Lexington Road in South Billerica, east of Friendship Street. It was laid out on the "Definitive Subdivision Plan of Land, 'Lexington Hills,' Billerica, Ma.," dated May 27, 1986 and revised September 18, 1986, drawn by Visniewski Engineering Associates, Inc., civil engineers and land surveyors, of Chelmsford for the applicant and owner, H. J. Allan, Inc. of 32 Lexington Road, whose president was Harry J. Allan. The Planning Board approved it on October 2, 1986, and it was recorded on October 7, 1986 (Plan Book 156, Plan 36). The same family company had developed Lexington Farms, across Lexington Road, in 1984. H. J. Allan, Inc. sold the lots with new houses from about 1989 to 1992, and a few houses came later, in 1999 and 2005. Its streets are John F Allan Drive, which comes up from Lexington Road, and Cartwright Lane and Ponderosa Drive, which branch from its end.
