Little Red Schoolhouse Manor is a small neighborhood between School House Lane and Wyman Road, next to the old schoolhouse lot of the Billerica Historical Society, from which it took its name. It was surveyed for Peter A. Caporale by James E. Monahan, registered land surveyor, in September 1956; the plan, "Little Red Schoolhouse Manor, Plan No. 1," was approved by the Planning Board on May 9, 1957 and recorded on October 17, 1957 in two sheets (Plan Book 89, Plan 95). It laid out Bowman Road and Knowles Drive, a short street ending in a turnaround, with 33 house lots of about 25,000 square feet and a play area; the house lots of the Dunn and D'Eramo families on Lindsay Road bounded it on the west.
