Rev. Lyman Vincent Rutledge, minister of the First Parish in Billerica. Born in Keokuk, Iowa, in December 1884; graduated Harvard Divinity School 1910 and was ordained October 4, 1910. He resigned May 26, 1914, and later served the Third Congregational Society in Cambridge, the First Church in Dorchester and the First Church in Dedham (1927-1949), of which he became minister emeritus; he founded the Star Island Corporation in 1915. He died September 27, 1977.
