Manning Manse
One of the first homesteads west of the river, and as such, a haven for travelers on the old road to Chelmsford and Amherst, NH. Acquired and restored by Warren H. Manning, noted landscape architect of the turn of the century, who also pieced together expensive woodlands in West Billerica now known as Manning State Forest.
