Martha A. Dodge House

Martha A. Dodge House
Also Known As Samuel Cole House #2
Address Concord Road
Built 1850
Demolished 1951

Samuel Cole built this small house on his land some time before 1853. He eventually sold it to the widow Martha Dodge Boyden. It's unclear who Mr. Boyden was or when he died. Martha frequently used Dodge as her surname, and her daughter was also Martha A. Dodge, a member of many social clubs in town, including the Historical Society. The house passed from Martha to Martha, who sold to another single woman, Hannah Louise Dugan in 1899. The house was razed in the early 1950s for the construction of Route 3.
