The McBride Subdivision is a small group of house lots in North Billerica on the land between Mt. Pleasant Street and Billerica Avenue. Ernest H. Harvey, civil engineer, drew the "Plan of Land in Billerica, Mass., belonging to Jane A. McBride" in July 1920, and it was recorded on October 29, 1920 (Plan Book 38, Plan 34). It divided the land into 37 lots, most of 5,000 to 8,000 square feet, on Doris Avenue, 40 feet wide, running from Mt. Pleasant Street along the Rogers line, with a Frances Street to Billerica Avenue that was never opened. The town accepted Doris Avenue in 1923, and again in 1960 and 1961. On the adjoining land John T. Brown, surveyor, drew a "Plan of Land in North Billerica, Mass., belonging to Mary H. Moulton," dated August 21, 1924 and recorded on January 19, 1925 (Plan Book 46, Plan 7), with Nicholas Avenue running from Billerica Avenue to Doris Avenue past five lots of 11,748 square feet. Nicholas Avenue stayed on paper until 2015, when the Planning Board approved its construction, and its houses date from 2015 and 2016. The streets are Doris Avenue and Nicholas Avenue.
