Meeting House Site Memorial
Article 21 of the 1901 Town Warrant requested $250 for the construction of this memorial. While most historians agree the first meeting house was further southwest (approximately where the Cummings St triangle is), this memorial is dedicated to the original settlers of the town.
In 2001, the plaque and parts of the masonry were replaced, and in 2002, a second plaque dedicated to the soldiers of the Revolutionary War was added.
