Will dated July 13, 1773: "My will is and I do give unto my Eldest Son Peter Hill all my Lands Lying in Billerica ... to him & his Heirs and Assigns For Ever That is to Say my Homestead with all the Buildings thereon Standing as also my meadow & wood Lot on the west Side of Concord River," with his live stock and husbandry tools, Peter to pay forty pounds each to his brothers Samuel, Jeremiah and David and smaller legacies to his sisters Rachel Crosby and Mary, and to be sole executor. Witnesses William Stickney, Samuel Kidder and Samuel Kidder Jr. Proved Sept. 7, 1773, when Peter gave bond with Samuel Kidder. The "Peter Hill Lot" across the river still carried the name on the 1883 plan. Middlesex probate case 11498.
