Preston's Corner

Edward Preston owned the Ephraim Kidder House at the shore of Concord River from 1875 until his death in 1901. The family operated a boat livery, and the intersection of Salem and Main St (now Darby Ave) was known as Preston's Corner.

The Corner Bridge was sometimes known as Preston's Bridge until at least 1925.
