Rhoda Kemp House
Rhoda Kemp was born in 1767 and never married. In 1829, Elijah B. Hill sold her this plot of land, where she is described as a "singlewoman". No buildings are mentioned in the deed (14/328), but she is shown living here on the 1853 map. Presumably, she had the house built soon after purchasing the land. In 1875, it was occupied by George Worth Hill.
