Rizzo Lane is a short lane in Riverhurst, the riverside colony west of Concord Road in South Billerica, laid out in 1921 as Spring Lane. The "Plan of Riverhurst, Billerica, Mass.," drawn in January 1921 by Whitman and Howard, civil engineers of Boston, for Fred B., A. Mabel and Claude B. Bartlett of Bedford (Plan Book 38, Plan 85), shows Spring Lane as a short way running north from the shorter western arm of Bartlett Road (now part of Keneson Road) to the corner where Riverhurst Road meets Roosevelt Road, with lot 104, of 10,825 square feet, on its east side. The plan does not explain the name; a spring near the river is the likely reason, but none is marked.

The name Spring Lane duplicated other Spring names in town (Spring Street, now Springs Road, and the "Spring lane" at the corner of Manning Road named in a 1920 warrant), and the lane now bears the name Rizzo Lane. The new name is first found in the registry in April 1999, when lot 104 "on plan of land known as 'Plan of Riverhurst'" was conveyed as 1 Rizzo Lane, with a utility easement to the town shown on an "Easement Plan in Billerica, Mass., Keneson Road" dated April 16, 1999. No vote or order changing the name has been found, and the record does not say for whom the lane was named.

Rizzo Lane is a private way. It has not been accepted by town meeting and is not among the roads of the 1831 town map accepted as public ways in October 2016.
