Opened 1915
Closed 1923
Locations 795 Boston Rd (1915 - 1923)

Grocery store of Theodore P. Rogers on Boston Road at the corner of Shawsheen Street, now Sheridan Street, in Pinehurst. Rogers is listed as a grocer on Boston Road from 1915, in 1916 as "grocer Boston rd c Shawsheen" and in 1919 as "postmaster also groc Boston rd c Shawsheen". The Shawsheen post office opened in the store on January 26, 1917, with Rogers as postmaster until 1923, and in 1921 the town described the Pinehurst School lot as "just west of the Shawsheen post office". The store was probably the building on Pinehurst Annex lots 1 to 3 at the south corner of Shawsheen Street, now 795 Boston Rd. After 1923 the post office passed to Harry W. and Ethel B. Brown and later to the Campbells at the corner of Beaumont Avenue (see Campbell's General Store and Post Office).
