St. Anne's Mission, located in North Billerica, was established in 1886, marking the beginning of a rich history. In 1890, a cornerstone ceremony marked the commencement of the construction of a new church building. The mission experienced a significant milestone in 1937 when Rev. Warren Bixby was appointed on a part-time basis.

The year 1956 saw the appointment of Rev. Stephen Austill as the first full-time rector, ushering in a new era for St. Anne's Mission. By 1959, the mission attained full Parish status, reflecting its growth and prominence within the community. In a gesture of compassion and outreach, St. Anne's hosted a refugee family from Indonesia in 1960.

The mission continued to expand its facilities, with the completion and dedication of the church school building in 1966. St. Anne's opened a Thrift Shop in the original Parish House Building in 1977, which remains operational to this day. In 1979, St. Anne's, in collaboration with other local parishes, sponsored three Cambodian refugee families, exemplifying its commitment to humanitarian efforts.

In 1986, St. Anne's celebrated its centennial, marking a century of service, worship, and community involvement. In 1989, a Memorial Garden was consecrated, providing a sacred space for remembrance and reflection.

Throughout its history, St. Anne's Mission in North Billerica has evolved into a vibrant and integral part of the community, embodying a legacy of faith, compassion, and service.
