Samuel Quagenti

Samuel Quagenti

S. Samuel Quagenti was a music teacher in the Billerica public schools in the early 1950s. The School Committee appointed him in 1951, the same year it appointed the music teacher Elizabeth L. Johnson, and the superintendent reported that year that the schools had "broadened our music curriculum to include instrumental experience on all levels," with seventy-six pupils in orchestra and band practice. The staff lists of 1952 and 1953 carry him among the supervisors and special teachers as the teacher of music, a graduate of Boston University with the degrees of Bachelor of Music and Master of Education. He resigned in 1954.
