Shawsheen Acres is a neighborhood in South Billerica on the west side of Shawsheen Road, between Albion Road and the Shawsheen River. The "Definitive Plan, Shawsheen Acres Subdivision Plan of Land," belonging to J. Everett Farmer and drawn by E. Conrad Levy, surveyors and engineers, of 68 Meriam Street, Lexington, is dated March 18, 1964. It was approved by the Planning Board on April 23, 1964 and recorded on July 31, 1964 in three sheets (Plan Book 100, Plan 86). It laid out Wildwood Road, now Wildbrook Road, west from Shawsheen Road, the curve of Argonne Road down to Albion Road, and Jef Road, in lots of about 30,000 square feet, beside registered land on Land Court Plan 3095 and the Tennessee Gas Transmission line.

Farmer added "Shawsheen Acres South," a definitive subdivision dated January 27, 1967 by E. Conrad Levy & Associates, approved on July 11, 1967 and recorded on August 15, 1967 (Plan Book 105, Plan 134), which laid out Shalloo Road between Shawsheen Road and Albion Road, north of Naushon Road. A "Resubdivision Plan of Land" by Walter E. Sampson & Associates of Franklin, dated March 31, 1967 (Plan Book 105, Plan 29), redrew lots between Argonne and Albion Roads. Most of the houses date from 1964 to 1970.
