Shawsheen Estates

Shawsheen Estates is a neighborhood in Billerica on the east side of Allen Road, south of Webb Brook Road. The "Shawsheen Estates Revised Definitive Plan of Land, Billerica, Mass.," owned by James E. and Phyllis C. Farmer of 2 Lorraine Terrace, Billerica, and drawn by Amherst Survey Associates, Inc., planners, engineers and surveyors, of Old Nashua Road, Amherst, New Hampshire, is dated September 28, 1981 and revised December 10, 1981 and January 11, 1982. It was recorded in March 1982 in two sheets (Plan Book 136, Plan 23). It laid out Bennett Circle, Minton Road and Aynsley Circle, in lots of 40,000 to 77,000 square feet, beside registered land on Land Court Plan 36385. The houses date from 1986 on.
