Sheldon Heights is a neighborhood in North Billerica between Sheldon Street and the Boston and Maine Railroad. The "Definitive Subdivision Plan of Sheldon Heights, Billerica, Mass.," owned by M & T Construction, Inc. of Billerica and drawn by K. J. Miller Company, civil engineers and land surveyors, of Wilmington, is dated September 11, 1967. It was recorded on January 9, 1968 in three sheets (Plan Book 106, Plan 72). It laid out about one hundred lots of 30,000 square feet on Carriage Road, Carmel Drive, Kingsbury Lane, Ashdale Road and a new loop of Burnham Road running toward High Street, with a recreation area of 6.8 acres. The houses date from the late 1960s and early 1970s.
