Thomas Shedd House
Mr. Thomas Shedd built a number of houses in Billerica. One was this fine example of Greek Revival on Sheldon Lane, aka Andover Road. Mr. Shedd's business was that of a coffin maker. The simplicity and finesse of the classic detail of this house both outside and in are exceptional. This house was open to the public in 1949 when the Billerica Historical Society presented its "Open House". There is an old brick over in excellent condition in the kitchen in the ell.
