The Thomas Talbot Memorial Hall was erected in Thomas Talbot's honor by his wife and children in 1891. The first floor had a ticket office and large dining hall. The second floor had the 45'x51' main hall with a stage, and a sixty-person gallery overlooked it. It was used by the town residents for entertainment and festivals.

In the mid-1970s, it was torn down to become a parking lot for the MBTA station.
