Built 1871

Union Hall was first built around 1871 and was widely known as the North Billerica Town Hall. It replaced the district schoolhouse on Mount Pleasant Street and had space for governmental functions. In 1891, it burned down and was quickly rebuilt. With its rebuilding, it had garages for the fire department. In the early 20th century, its use as a school ceased, but the first floor maintained its use as a fire station until 1965 when a new fire house was built on Lowell Street. Within a couple years, it was a parking lot for the train station.
