W. B. Stearns House
This house was named for Ralph Messer's grandfather who built it. It was originally part of the Searls' estate across the street. The house was located prominently on a curve of the road and could be seen from the Center. Ralph Messer operated a country store in the Central Block. In January 2019, the home was destroyed by fire with loss of the life of the owner.
