Walters Street is a short street in Chelmsford, not in Billerica, near the town line and the Route 3 interchange, where Chelmsford Road continues into Chelmsford as Billerica Road. OpenStreetMap draws it running about 720 feet west from the junction of Chelmsford Road and Brick Kiln Road, but the Billerica assessors have no Walters Street, and every property on it is recorded as in Chelmsford: the Chelmsford Planning Board in 2021 placed 6 and 11 Walters Street on its assessors' map 97, in the Limited Industrial district, when it allowed a landscaping contractor's yard there. The deed descriptions of 11 Walters Street go back to a tract "on the country road leading from Chelmsford to Billerica" between Black Brook and Beaver Brook, part of which the Commonwealth took in 1954 for the Lowell Turnpike Highway (Route 3).

The registry of deeds indexes Walters Street under Chelmsford from 1988; a few entries of 2018 to 2022 for 6 and 11 Walters Street are also indexed under Billerica, apparently in error. The street has no Billerica history.
