William Haile (also Hale or Hall), early settler of Billerica, whose house lot lay east of Concord River near the Great Bridge. The first sexton of the town: in 1662/3 the townsmen engaged him to keep the meeting house clean and to dig the graves, which he did until his death. He married Anna Case at Charlestown 1662 Oct. 30 and died 1668 May 20 without issue; his widow married Samuel Trull.
