Isaac Stearns was born on August 21, 1701, the only son of Isaac Stearns (1661-1739) and his wife Mary. He married Allice Wilson, a daughter of John Wilson, and on the towns tax list of 1733 he was rated as Isaac Stearns Jr., beside his father.
He died on September 20, 1739, a young man, in the same year as his father, leaving a large young family. His widow married John Pollard, who had been the husband of Isaacs sister Mary. Their children were Thomas (1724/5); Sarah (1726), who married Joshua Abbot; Jonathan (1729), who lived in Lancaster; John (1731), who died in 1754; Oliver (1733), who was in service at Lake George in 1757; Elijah (1735), who lived in Rutland; Allice (1737), who married Elisha White of Lancaster in 1758; and William (1738/9), who died in 1756.
